Why it works: the 5-degree difference
The Fire Away Tee is patented around three design choices:
- A 5-degree forward tilt. The tee's longer front prongs lean toward the target, with the ball's center of gravity set back — promoting the upward strike that launch monitors keep telling you to make.
- A four-point cradle instead of a cup. Traditional tees hold the ball in a cup — more surface contact, more friction at impact. Four points touch the ball at the minimum, so it leaves cleaner.
